Constructed from reclaimed telephone wire and electrical tape, Ethernet 2 continues the collection's exploration of technological waste, connection, and transformation.
As systems evolve, they leave behind physical evidence. Obsolete cables, outdated devices, and discarded infrastructure accumulate alongside the technologies that replace them. Ethernet 2 reclaims these materials and returns them to visibility, transforming objects originally designed to transmit information into a garment that communicates through form and material.
Part of the Archeology collection, the piece reflects on growth and reinvention. Just as people and cities continuously evolve through layers of experience, technology leaves behind traces of its own history. Ethernet 2 asks us to consider the value of what remains and the stories embedded within the materials we discard.
