The Archeology Vest began with a simple question: if our lives were frozen in time today, what objects would remain to tell our story? Embedded within layers of paint are 3D printed fragments of everyday life preserved like artifacts within a geological stratum. The piece treats the present as history in progress, inviting us to see discarded objects not as waste, but as evidence of how we lived, what we valued, and the systems we built around ourselves.
Each layer builds upon the one before it. Just as cities are continuously rewritten through construction, maintenance, and personal expression, people grow through accumulation rather than replacement. The past is not erased. It becomes the foundation for what comes next.
